This herculean effort involved over 600 interviews and as many booklets over 22 data collections. Here at CPG we have grown and changed for the better over the last two years, partially in thanks to all we have learned from this experience. We would like to share with you a little taste of our travels!
Most of our data was collected at TBS MCB Quantico. This afforded us some amazing opportunities to grow together as a team and we would like to share some of those memories with you! We were even able to see some of the sights, such as the Washington Monument on the National Mall, the famous SR-71 Blackbird, and Space Shuttle Discovery. We even had a chance to check out some of the First Ladies’ gowns at the American History Museum (certainly worth the visit).
On a cold winter morning the Base closed due to inclement weather. While our Ohio contingent was not impressed, the Floridians and Californians were sending home photos of the lovely snow (though it relegated us to lattes and cappuccinos for the workday).
Once, mid-collection, we found ourselves in a forest, crossing train tracks, and quite unsure of our destination. We came upon Tim’s Rivershore restaurant and enjoyed a wonderful view of the river and some delicious seafood! Everyone remembers the time when part of our group was stranded and ended up with a sleep-shift drive of 13 hours from Baltimore to Orlando!
The last two years have been a time of growth for our company and our employees. We all enjoyed our time with TBS and want to thank them for hosting us so graciously.
