We are excited to announce that for the first time CPG will be attending the 2014 HR Florida conference! The HR Florida Conference & Expo is the annual conference for the HR Florida State Council. This event is geared toward human research professionals and vendors across a variety of industries covering a range of topics such as compensation, employment law, training, and personnel selection to name a few. This conference is attended by over 1,500 professionals.

Iris RiveraJoin in on the conversation by attending CPG’s session. Our scientist Dr. Iris D. Rivera will be presenting “Performance Feedback: Science Says You are Doing it Wrong” on Tuesday, October 7th at 7:00am. In this session she explores why performance feedback leads to improved performance but how it can also surprisingly hurt or hinder performance. To understand this phenomenon she delves into a popular feedback theory in an easy to understand format using vivid examples. There will be actionable items, self-assessment activities, and advice that participants can walk away with and easily apply at work.
